If this ever happens, please be sure to make a 2FA system that would be compatible with a few desktop authenticator apps, like the way Discord lets you use Authy.

Sir Waffles: TOTP HMAC 2FA is an OAuth standard, if you know how to create a secret token for the TOTP strategy, all authenticator applications that uses TOTP HMAC for authentication will work.
